I’m Lucca, and I have had a love for the camera since I developed object permanence. My mom collected buckets upon buckets of printed photos that she kept under her bed throughout my childhood, a large majority of them capturing yours truly. When I was growing up, I loved to write, paint, draw, and act. My parents always told me I got all of the creative energy for the whole family for myself. I started my professional career by attending the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design for a brief period. While I decided that traditional art school wasn’t for me, I quickly fell in love with the idea of being behind the camera after I started my family. I jumped from taking casual photos of my kids and pets to diving straight into the wedding world and have not looked back.

In my spare time, you can find me with my nose in a book or tending to my jungle of half-alive house plants. When I am not thrifting antique treasures to fill every corner of my house, I enjoy video games and tabletop games alike. If I could take a camera into a real-life Dungeons and Dragons world, I think I could start my fantasy version of National Geographic.

My favorite thing about weddings is being able to take all of the chaotic, creative energy I have and focus it on detailing every moment of the day. I am constantly looking for new angles and techniques to capture classic shots in a timeless way that a client will never forget. I will be your best friend from the moment we meet. Getting to know my couples and walking through life with them while capturing their big milestones is what I live for. From engagement to wedding, new family members to graduating seniors, family is my passion. Relationships and memories started my career and continue to be my inspiration. I look forward to sharing my passion with you!
